Political junkie Norah Fountain is an award winning journalist who cut her news teeth working for national print and broadcast news networks and wire services, such as Canadian Press-Broadcast News. As a senior researcher for Pierre Berton, she learned to never let a detail go unnoticed. The lifelong Muskokan wrote her first provincial political story at age 19. Matt Sitler is a long-time award winning Muskoka journalist whose talents also include oil portraiture, writing fiction and tweeting. A former lead reporter with the Bracebridge Examiner and Cottage Country News Director with Moose FM, he’s also appeared on CTV’s W5 and City TV. Other interests include reading, yoga and film. Spencer Wynn‘s career has spanned many visual areas. Beginning with magazines, Wynn has won many prestigious National Magazine Awards. A Canadian landscape painter with sales through Sotheby’s Fine Art, Wynn’s heart is truly Canadian. Closer to home, his work has been seen and celebrated around Muskoka. As a visual journalist, he has won dozens of international awards from his time in Canada’s largest newsroom, the Toronto Star. He continues his love of creating visual narratives by documenting weddings, live births and other significant events in a truly documentary style. Spencer is part of the Muskoka News Watch Team as Creative Advisor and Feature Photographer working on assignment with Matt Sitler and on special projects.
